We have an unfair advantage in the marketplace of ideas: We have truth on our side.
How evangelism changes the Christian life.
“When we are living life on the evangelistic edge it changes every part of our Christian life.”
On our need for kindness.
“I can’t think of any example in the New Testament where Jesus slam-dunked on anyone who came to him with a sincere question.”
On our defensible faith.
“It is okay for us as followers of Jesus to have questions. It’s okay for us to have doubts—as long as we do what John did and pursue answers…. Do you know what the good news is? We have a defensible faith. We have a faith that stands up to the toughest questions and doubts.”
On relational apologetics.
“It’s when we have a friendship with someone who is far from God, and value them as someone loved by the Father, and listen to them…that is what we are called to do. A new kind of apologetics is needed today. It’s about relationships.”
On sacrificial service.
“When we sacrificially serve as Jesus did, it cracks open the hardest of hearts.”

What do your prayers say about your heart for evangelism?
“Christian, if today Jesus said to you, ‘I’m going to answer every single prayer you prayed last week.’ If he said that to you tonight, would there be anbody new in the Kingdom of God tomorrow? Are we praying fervently, consistently and expectantly for lost people?”
