The world is changing. For better or worse, the culture looks vastly different than it did just a decade ago. The unrelenting cultural change can be disorienting.
If you serve in ministry, these changes pose an additional challenge. Other Christians in your care are looking to you for answers, and they want to know how they should think and react. So, it’s not enough to know how to navigate culture for yourself; you must know how to lead others to navigate it, as well.

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary has created a new degree program to help you answer these questions and more.
In the new Doctor of Ministry in Faith and Culture, you will get the tools you need to address the big cultural questions in your ministry. Over the course of this program, you’ll learn:
- What culture is.
- How to wisely contextualize the gospel within culture.
- How Christians should think about and respond to key cultural challenges.
- Why the gospel informs everything a Christian does.
You’ll be taught by a world-class faculty, including Drs. Bruce Ashford, Mark Liederbach, Chuck Lawless and Jamie Dew. Plus, the program is designed to work with your schedule via workshops, seminars and contextualized learning. The Doctor of Ministry in Faith and Culture will assist you to lead well in your ministry setting.
